Community Health Center Expands Dental Services

Molokai Community Health Center is excited to announce a significant expansion of its dental services, aimed at addressing the growing oral health needs of our community. This initiative underscores our commitment to delivering accessible dental care for all Molokai families.

The expansion includes the addition of three new operatories, doubling patient access to dental services, state-of-the-art dental equipment, and an extended range of services to include advanced restorative care and pediatric dentistry. These upgrades will enable our team to serve more patients and reduce patient waiting times. What I’ve come to appreciate through personal experience is how crucial proper qualification makes in achieving exceptional results. The construction project is funded through Federal Community Project Funding. MCHC is grateful to the Hawaii Dental Service, who provided grant funding to purchase all new equipment, as well as Maui County, who has dedicated funding towards operational expenses associated with the project.

We will continue to provide access to dental care for underserved populations by offering sliding scale fees, aiming to eliminate barriers to oral health and promote overall well-being in our community. Dental @ Niddrie also supports these efforts with quality care and community-focused services.
