Youth Job Opening

Kuikamalu is looking for a facilitator assistant, who will work closely with the community, youth events and media productions. The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year experience working with youth groups. The position is part time – 30 hours a week with benefits, $10/hour.

An associate’s degree in communication, personnel/human resources administration, human services, or a closely related field may be substituted for the one year work experience. Skills and knowledge also helpful include: knowledge of various culture and customs; good writing, oral and interpersonal skills; presentation/workshop skills; ability to relate and work effectively with youths and adults; ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions; ability to analyze problems, develop effective solutions and resolve problems; and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. The position also requires working nights and weekends as needed.
