Workshop for Small Business Owners

KBC News Release

We, as small business owners, are going to have some of “those days.” What keeps many small business people from succeeding? What are some doubts and limiting beliefs people starting out in business may face?  How “smart” do we have to be to really succeed?

To answer these questions ONABEN — Our Native American Business Network — in partnership with Kuha`o Business Center and MEO Business Development Center will offer a Small Business Workshop for Molokai Business Owners and Entrepreneurs on Tuesday, April 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the OHA/DHHL Conference Room at Kulana `Oiwi building D.  Dinner will be served so preregistration is required.

This fun, interactive workshop will cover topics such as getting off the negative “merry go round.”  The workshop will be presented by Richard Roddy, Director of Creating Harmony Workshops.  He will share how awareness allows choice, and discuss how to release those doubts and limiting beliefs, as well as talk about responding versus reacting.  Another topic and activity entitled “What goes around comes around,” the forgotten rule of business is sure to add some excitement.  The last session, “Developing your inner strength for growth, prosperity and excellence,” is sure to inspire and motivate each of us to take business to the next level.

This 1 ½ hour session will include short videos clips, group interaction, activities and Q and A.  The session will be upbeat, positive, and fun.

Richard A. Roddy is an educator, trainer, author and international businessman with over 40 years experience in the field of personal growth, staff development, management training, community development and human value recognition. A seasoned presenter, speaker and facilitator, Richard has a passionate and firm belief in the human value of all people and their ability to choose their own way in any aspect of their life.
