Updates on Molokai Dispatch distribution

Many of you (ourselves included) are still adjusting to our new distribution schedule. After increasing our print run two weeks ago, it’s still not as easy as we would like to get ahold of an issue of The Molokai Dispatch.

One of the frustrating challenges we’ve faced is keeping up with the 50 or so locations we currently deliver to. After much deliberation, we’ve decided to limit drop-off sites to our highest-traffic locations, with preference to advertisers. This change will allow us leave larger quantities of papers in places you are most likely to frequent.

For business owners still wanting the Dispatch, we will always provide free papers offered in bundles of 25 on a first-come basis for pick-up at the Dispatch office.  Papers arrive in our office at 2:30 p.m. every Wednesday afternoon – please come by to visit.

We are also boosting circulation by several hundred additional copies and securing a distributor for West Molokai – if you’re interested, see our ad in the right column on page 4. We are happy to announce that the Dispatch’s Aunty Kapua Templeton will now be distributing to our east Molokai locations.

Mahalo to our new local subscribers.  Like them, you can opt to receive the paper in your mailbox at the discounted rate of $44 for 12 months or $24 for six months. Local subscribers usually receive their papers by Thursday afternoon.

The new list of drop-off locations will be active beginning next week Wednesday, February 8. Include your location by regularly picking up a bundle from our office at the Moore Center, Suite 5, on  Kamoi St. in Kaunakakai.
