The Boys Volleyball team got two big road wins on Lanai last weekend at Pedro Dela Cruz in Lani City. Molokai won in straight sets on both days and improved their record to 6-2. Friday’s score was 25-20, 25-22, and 25-12. Saturday’s score was 26-24, 25-12 and 25-13.

Head Coach Hale Domingo knows playing at Lanai is always tough.

“Lanai being at home was a challenge for us and we knew they were going to have the crowd behind them and the momentum on their side most of the night but we hung in there and stole what momentum we could and we finished strong,” he said.

Molokai will make another tough road trip to Hana this weekend before having a week off, then hosting Seabury at The Barn on April 20-21. The MIL DII Tournament on Maui is April 26-28.

Domingo has his boys playing well but still wants to improve.

“For me I’m never satisfied with our play but I’m very proud of this bunch of boys for being Farmer strong,” he said. “I learned a lot about my boys this past weekend and I am still learning about them every day.”
