Topside Congregational Churches News Release

Our Topside Churches annual bazaar is back after two years and we look forward to seeing you there. The event is presented by the Hoolehua, Kalaiakamanu Hou, Kalua’aha and Waialua Congregational churches. This fundraiser helps our churches with expenses and more importantly, gives us opportunity to minister in our community.

Over the years, our community ministry included organizations that work to better our Molokai community have enjoyed using our facilities at Ho’olehua, Kalaiakamanu Hou, and Waialua Pavilion at little or no cost. Over the past five years, we sponsored 1500 free Thanksgiving meals and are set to serve that special meal again in November.  During the COVID pandemic, we served 500 free chili plates thanking you for supporting our bazaar for the past 20+ years. We offered free movie nights on the lawn to give families an alcohol/drug free environment to hang out. We have benevolent funds which we have used to help people pay rent, recover from a tragedy, get a meal, etc. Waialua sponsors a food bank and clothing closet for the east community; and all of our churches are open and welcoming to all!

Come join us at the bazaar! And if you can’t, come join our church family at Sunday services: Ho’olehua at 8 a.m., Kalaiakamanu Hou at 9:30 a.m., Waialua at 11:15 a.m., and Kalua’aha at 12:30 p.m. every fourth Sunday of the month.
