Support for Lady Farmers Basketball

A big mahalo to all those that took part in the Molokai girls basketball only home games at the Barn two weeks ago. I would like to thank the fans and community that came out and supported the girls, as they played a really good game against the visiting rivals from Seabury Hall, as well as for joining us as we honored four hardworking seniors at the conclusion of that game. It was just great to see everyone come out, especially with all kind of other events going on the island. Mahalo to Lisa Takata who helped with our halftime game and for getting the donated prizes for our game; Kamoi Snack and Go and Rawlins Chevron for the donated prizes; Kurt Go, for working hard helping those that were injured; Mr. Bennett for his voice during the games; Shirlery Ann and Tita Adolpho for helping the girls stay hydrated; our scoreboard and scorebook keepers; The Molokai Dispatch for covering the game; Walter, Loretta and Scarlett Ritte, and the students of Ho`omana Hou for making the lei and posters; and the Lady Farmers underclassmen for their beautiful decorations and presentation to the senior class. Sorry if I missed anybody, but on behalf of the Molokai Lady Farmers basketball team we want to say mahalo, we appreciate your love and support! Also, check out our Molokai High School Athletics page on Facebook – stay connected with our local athletes.
