The Salvation Army News Release

The Salvation Army’s Kahului Corps delivered 1,200 holiday gifts to keiki and kupuna in need on Molokai, with the assistance of the US Coast Guard Maui Station last week. Eleven hundred of these gifts were toys, with the remaining being keiki clothes and gifts for kupuna.

The Salvation Army’s Lt. Romelia Howard and Cadet Shelby Hanauer rode along with the gifts as they made their way over to Molokai (the trip took 1:15 min.) and presented the gifts to Envoy Gina Kuahuia from The Salvation Army Molokai Corps.

More than 500 children and 30 seniors will be assisted through this delivery.
