The Cooke Memorial Pool in Kaunakakai will be closed for deep cleaning of the pool’s surface and restrooms from Dec. 12 through Dec. 14, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced. The facility will reopen on Thursday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

 The Department of Parks and Recreation appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.

Additionally, all Maui County pools will be closed half days on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, from noon to 4 p.m.
