Maui County OED News Release

The Maui County Mayor’s Office of Economic Development (OED) is offering a free workshop on Molokai for grant funding for the 2020 fiscal year. The public workshop will be held on Monday, May 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Liliʻuokalani Trust (formerly known as the Queen Lili’uokalani Children’s Center).

Workshop attendees will receive an application packet for FY 2020 and will be offered a complete step-by-step training on the application process. OED staff also will be available to answer questions.

The FY 2020 Grant Application and Handbook will be available online starting Wednesday, May 1 at mauicounty.gov/141/Office-Of-Economic-Development.

Additionally, Molokai residents are invited to meet in person with Kay Fukumoto, director of the OED, on May 10. Two meet-and-greets will be held: for those with the Molokai business community from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lili`uokalani Trust, and with Molokai residents from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Home Pumehana Senior Center, Room No. 1.
