November Events for Veterans

Our Molokai Veterans Caring for Veterans (MVCV) have a lot of activities for our veterans and community for the month of November.  On Thursday, Nov. 5, our state VA Counselor, John Condello, will be at our center from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for appointments only by calling (808) 433-0420.

On Friday, Nov. 6, at our center will be holding our general membership meeting from 10 a.m. to noon for election of board officers and directors for the next two years.  Our nomination committee chairperson, Jeanette Kahalehoe, is currently accepting interested veterans for all positions.  Criteria for holding office and voting in this election is you must be a veteran of the US armed forces and a paid lifetime member or current annual dues paid member.  For more information, please contact the center at 553-8387 or stop by our center.

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, at our Veterans Memorial Park in Kaunakakai across the credit union, please join us for Veterans Day program at 10 a.m. to honor and thank all of our veterans, past and present, for all their sacrifices and services.

Lastly, on Friday, Nov. 20, at our center from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. , a resourceful seminar on VA Benefits with State VA counselor, John Condello, and Veterans Law Attorney, Katrina J. Eagle, and Diane C. Haar, Attorney at Law, will discuss legal concerns with veterans.
