Mahalo for the Rescue
The parents of Kiliya Pule would like to say mahalo nui loa to the Lord first of all, and to the Pukoo Fire Station, Bradda Maliu and firefighters first response, EMS Scotty Schaefer and paramedics, the Air Medics, God-parents Daddy JJ and Mama Riya, Auntie Maxine, Police Chaplain Lynette Schaefer for her spiritual support, Officer Mike McCutcheon, TSA Kimo Paleka, TSA Kevin Kaahanui for the prayers, Barbara Kalipi of QLCC, Cynee and Auntie Maile Cambell, Shannon, Krystale, Vinnie and Auntie Marva Lin Kee of Maui, and my mom Kehau Pule said e kala mai for driving on the grass at the airport to get to the fence where the helicopter was….thank you Jesus we live on Molokai! Words cannot express the gratitude of each and every one of you who had a specific part in saving our little girls life. May God continue to bless you and your ohana especially during this holiday and to remember that “you don’t know if tomorrow will come it is like a vapor that vanishes away.” So appreciate one another and always remember to say I love you!
