We, Kalia Luafalemana-Haney, Marina Luafalemana-Haney, Hila’i Kapuni, Kendra Kaulili, Kaimaile Stone, and Enakai Hue Sing, expresses our sincere gratitude to Molokai community for the immense support on our journey to the State Wrestling Club Tournament in Lahaina, Maui.

Special mahalo to Coach Ponciano Raguindin and Coach Benny Venenciano for training us to prepare mentally and physically.  Both inspired us to work with great sincerity and commitment to achieve our goals on and off the mat.  

Our parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, and siblings/cousins: this would not have been possible without your sacrifices and dedication to us.  You all have illustrated the true definition of “parent involvement” in order to make dreams possible.  Unconditional love and support you provided to us daily goes unnoticed and we will be forever grateful.  

Our uncle Justin Luafalemana, there’s no words to express how blessed we are for your absolute devotion, pledge, faith, encouragement, sacrifice, teachings, and love you have shown us.  From our daily 4:30 a.m. run, everyday mat training, motivation speeches, passionate roaring, and being a prime example of a leader.  You’ve planted the seed in our minds and hearts that we’re capable of doing so much in this world all while staying rooted.  You’ve set forth a positive path in our lives that only strives us to do and be better on the mat and in life.  You’ve demonstrated how hard work and small victories can become great rewards and no matter what, never give up! Thank you for always being in our corner, literally!
