Live Like Tre’ Day
Live Like Tre’ Foundation News Release
On July 8, the Live Like Tre’ Foundation will hold a Live Like Treʻ Day on Molokai to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Treʻ Evans-Dumaran, one of Hawaiiʻs fallen firefighters.
The Live Like Tre’ Foundation was established to continue Treʻ’s work of spreading kindness and happiness, and Live Like Treʻ Day is an opportunity for everyone to join in this mission. The Molokai event will be held on July 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mitchell Pauole Center.
The event will be filled with fun family activities, music, food, and much more. Participants can share their words or thoughts with Tre’ at his slideshow corner and explore the fire truck, among other exciting activities.
Funds raised through the Live Like Treʻ Day events will support community members in making our community better through funding small acts of kindness projects. Additionally, the Live Like Tre’ Foundation will offer scholarship opportunities with a focus on student athletes with single-parent households, students who have the desire to become a pilot, and students born to teen parents. Funding will also be available for training and uniforms for new and upcoming firefighters.
Through Live Like Tre’ Day, the Live Like Tre’ Foundation hopes to inspire others to amplify small acts of kindness, give with heart, live with passion, dream the possibilities, support ‘ohana and create a big impact, just as Treʻ did. The Foundation hopes that Live Like Treʻ Day will encourage people to continue Treʻ’s legacy of kindness and generosity.
“We invite community to celebrate the life and legacy of Treʻ Evans-Dumaran through Live Like Tre’ Day and support our community through these initiatives,” said Chelsie Evans, mom of the late Treʻ Evans-Dumaran. “Treʻ was a kind and generous soul who touched many lives, and we hope that Live Like Treʻ Day will inspire others to follow his steps, and continue his legacy.”
