Lei Day Festivities
Island-wide May Day celebrations kicked off last week with Molokai High and Kualapu’u School’s courts. Students donned handmade lei of various colors to represent the princes and princesses of each island in the court, while the queen and king were pictures of royalty, and each class performed musical numbers on front of family and friends. Other school’s May Day observances will be held throughout the month of May.
