Lady Farmers 2-0 After Home Wins
The Lady Farmers Girls Volleyball team opened their 2018 season with two wins over the Lanai Pine Lasses last weekend. Molokai won in three straight sets on both days. Friday’s score was 25-14, 25-8 and 25-18. Saturday was another three-set sweep 25-12, 25-11, 25-10.
Head Coach Mahea Rawlins knows its early in the season but was happy to get the wins.
“I’d say each game is a learning experience and we came out ready to play our opening season game,” she said. “Everyone got to play so that’s a plus and the girls did great. We have a lot of room for improvements to prepare us for our upcoming games. We are looking forward to playing Seabury this weekend.”
The Lady Farmers will host Seabury Hall this weekend at The Barn in Ho’olehua. Friday night’s game is at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, game time is 11 a.m.
The Booster club has the concession open at all home games so come out at support Molokai Athletics and our student athletes.
