La Hemo Kula 2008

The 2008 Punana Leo O Molokai graduates Pu’uhonua Pescaia, Kawana’ao Dekneef,
Kaulana Pedro-Tabilangan, Iokepa Kuaoha, and Keli’i Poaha-Niau performed a mele for
family and friends during last Friday’s la hemo kula at Lanikeha Recreation Center.
The five keiki graduates of the Hawaiian language immersion preschool are now ready
to take the next step into Kindergarten.
This year’s graduation took place during the day so that families and the young
keiki could enjoy a magnificent celebration together. Hearts of Aloha were scattered
everywhere embracing all those who came to celebrate in this wonderful occasion.
