Kamehameha Schools is now accepting applications for admission to its three campuses for the 2012-13 school year. The application deadline is Sept. 30.

Residents of Oahu may apply to kindergarten and grades four, seven and nine at the Kapalama campus. West Hawaii, Molokai, Lanai, Kauai, Ni`ihau and Hana district residents may apply to grades seven and nine at Kapalama.

For kindergarten, eligible applicants include boys born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007 and girls born between Oct. 1, 2006 and Sept.r 30, 2007. Applications to grades 10, 11 and 12 are accepted at all three campuses, but seats are based on availability.

Applications can be downloaded online at ksbe.edu/admissions. You can also request an application by sending an email to admissions@ksbe.edu. Please include your name, mailing address, a daytime phone number, and the campus and grade level that your child is applying for.

Financial aid is available. Kamehameha Schools’ admissions policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
