Imua Family Services Opens at New Molokai Location

Imua Family Services News Release 

Imua Family Services invites you to join them in celebrating their newly relocated office location in Kaunakakai! In celebration of this new move, Imua Family Services has planned two free programs on Saturday, Jan. 28. The first is a special activity called Play Imua for preschool-age children and their families at the Molokai Public Library starting at 11:30 a.m. The parent-child program will include an interactive arts activity and story time.

That same day, Imua Family Services will also be offering free developmental screenings and evaluations for keiki between 2 months old and 5 ½ years of age at their new office location at 130 Kamehameha V Hwy in Kaunakakai. Families are invited to drop in between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Whether you have questions about your child’s speech, behavior or general development, or just want reassurance that your child is on the right track, this is your chance to hear from a reliable professional and help ensure that Molokai’s keiki are starting off on the right foot.

Remember, the most critical years of every child’s development is before the age of 5, at which point 90 percent of their development has already occurred. Stop by to get your questions answered, see the new office space, and say hello! The community is also welcome to attend the blessing of the office at 12:30 p.m., following the Makahiki festival.
