HS Showcase Camp & Game on Maui on Jan. 9

The Baseball Academy of the Pacific is conducting a 2010 High School Showcase Camp on January 9th, 2010 at the Ichiro “Iron” Maehara Stadium in Wailuku Maui for 40 players ages 14 to 19 years old from 9am to 7pm. Student/athletes from across the state or the mainland interested in playing college baseball are encouraged to attend.
The registration fee is $180 with signing up for the Academy’s e-newsletter list @ www.baseballacademypacific.com. The registration fee is $200 without joining the list. College coaches in attendance will include – • David Yamane – Hilo native & assistant coach with Long Beach (CA) City College • Blaine Bernades – Lahaina native assistant coach with Mesa State University (CO) • Chris Brown Head Coach – San Diego City College (CA) • Blake Kangas assistant coach – Feather River Community College (CA) camp features testing and instruction in the morning, a presentation by coaches covering recruiting, eligibility, scholarship/financial aid, Mental Skills Training by David Yamane during midday, then a game in afternoon.
