Girls’ Soccer Making Strides
The girls’ soccer team was once again plagued by transportation issues this past weekend in Maui – this time, a bus breakdown – affecting their game.
They lost both games against Kamehameha Maui, 0-11 in each match.
“Once again, I don’t believe the scores this week are reflective of what the girls have achieved since they started practicing in October,” coach Jason Keanini said.
Keanini added they are, however, gaining chemistry.
“I can tell even after these games, that they are learning more how to play together as a team,” Keanini said.
Their next games, the season’s first home games, are this Friday and Saturday against Lahainaluna – 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. respectively.
