Girls Paddling Finishes 2nd

The Molokai High School Girls Paddling team finished in second place behind Kamehameha Maui last Saturday at Kahului Harbor on Maui.  The Lady Farmers were just over three seconds behind the Warriors with a time of 4:46.08. Crew members were Hulilau Albino, Shai Rawlins, Kaydence Oswald, Cahl Horner, Sherie Kaili and Ashawna Davis.

Head Coach Stefani Hubbard was happy with her team.

“The girls put up a tough fight but they were just out performed this time,” she said. “We’ve got a few things to work on and clean up, and that’s exactly what we’ll do starting Monday.”

Molokai’s next race with be this Saturday at Ka Lae Pohaku Beach on Maui.
