Funeral Mahalo

The family of Benjamin K. Naki, Jr. (born 9/19/1951, died 3/3/2011), better known to most of us here on Molokai as “Benny Boy,” would like to thank all the family and friends who came to share in his final journey home to his heavenly father.  Thank you to all of you for your words of comfort, monetary gifts, donations, but most of all for taking the time to share your memories with my mom and myself.

To Reverend Wendy Kekahuna for the beautiful memorial service, refreshments and beautiful flowers, your words of comfort and your memories of Benny Boy; to Pearlie Hodgins and Napua Silva for the programs; Sean Kekahuna for the tables; to Kualapu`u Ranch for the e-z up, tables and chairs; Marvin and Pumehana for preparing and serving of the food; Henry and Scott for helping Marvin to setup everything; Erin and Francis for the excellent deserts and juice containers; Carolyn Bush for the rice cooker; Donna Meyer for the beautiful song you sang; Darrell Aea for helping to sing Amazing Grace, mahalo cuz; and a special mahalo to Auntie Frannie for always being there for my mom and our family, you were always our second mom. I hope we haven’t forgotten anyone.

Mahalo,
Melva, Janeen (daughter), Ben III (son), Roxanne and family
