Free Deer Meat Drive

Molokai Hunting Club News Release 

In honor of King Kamehameha V, Lota Kapuāiwa Kalanimakua Aliʻiōlani Kalanikupuapaʻīkalaninui, who introduced the axis deer to Molokai and who’s lā hānau (birthday) is on Dec. 11, 1830, Molokai Hunting Club will host another free deer meat drive to our Molokai families. We honor our fifth reigning Monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaii, as axis deer continues to be a prime food source for our Molokai community. Onipa’a Kakou!

The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Troy Tancayo’s hale (1 Likelike Ave). Kupuna only between 9 and 10 a.m., and open to community from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
