Football Scoreboard Campaign

Friends of MHMS Foundation News Release
A little over two years ago, the Friends of Molokai High and Middle Schools Foundation kicked off a fundraising campaign to get a Scoreboard for our Maui Interscholastic League Championship eight-man football team. We are happy to announce that this March, we reached our targeted donation amount and that the scoreboard has been purchased, shipped, and has arrived on Molokai. The Friends Foundation, MHS Athletic Department, and the Farmer Football team would like to thank the following businesses and individuals for their generous donations.

Special thanks go out to major donors Jeff and Crystal Egusa, Kevin Misaki at Misaki’s Inc., PAR Hawaii and Molokai Petroleum, Monsanto Molokai employees and their Malama Kaiaulu grants program.

Mahalo to the Hawaii Canoe Paddling ohana: Hannie Anderson, Carleen Ornellas and the Na Wahine O Ke Kai organization, Jim Foti and Kanaka Ikaika Race Organization, Kealani and Kai Bartlett and Kai Wa`a canoes, Tom and Mary Bartlett, Catherine DeBoni, Tim and Torrey Paul, and William and Julie Leach.

The scoreboard is here, but still needs to be installed. Interested donors wanting to still help with our scoreboard project are welcome to send donations to the Friends of Molokai High and Middle Schools Foundation, P.O. Box 1618, Kaunakakai, HI. 96748. Checks can be made payable to Friends of MHMS Foundation. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
