Filipino Association Meeting Rescheduled

Kaunakakai Filipino Association News Release 

The annual membership meeting of the Kaunakakai Filipino Association has been rescheduled thanks to the loosening of COVID restrictions. It will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16 at the Molokai Veterans Center at 6:30 p.m. We will follow all current County COVID protocols.

Agenda includes elections and new members. Any resident of Molokai who is of Filipino descent and wishes to join may email Alice Cabael Kaahanui at molokai.bred@gmail.com for an application. Applicants must attend the KFA meeting to be considered for membership.

The Kaunakakai Filipino Association was founded more than 60 years ago to provide community service to the Molokai community. Its main objective is to provide financial assistance to Filipino families upon death of a family member. The KFA also strives to develop friendship, understanding and unity between members of the association and their families.
