Elizabeth Piliholei Davis

Mrs. Elizabeth Piliholei Davis, 75, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died May 5, 2010 at the Kona Community Hospital. Born on Molokai on September 13, 1934, she was a service board operator for Am Fac at the former King Kamehameha Hotel. She was a waitress at the Pauhana Inn and former Kona Hilton Hotels; a hostess at the Makaha Inn and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kailua-Kona Ward.

She is survived by her 5 sons, Ronald (Lucy) Davis of Molokai, Reginald (Mapuana) Davis of Kailua-Kona, HI, George (Iwalani) Davis of Honolulu, Clinton Kaleikini of Gilroy, CA, and Stephen (Leslie) Davis of Oregon; 6 daughters, Roberta Davis and  CherylAnn (Rocky) Maliga of Anaheim, CA, Kawewehi Davis of Kahului, Maui, Matildamargaret Davis of Kaneohe, Gina (Ropati) Ropati of Oahu, Beatrice Kaleikini of Kailua-Kona, HI; brother, Robert Pelekai, Jr., of Honolulu; sister, Gloria (Gordon) Brannon of Arizona; 40 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kalamaula for a 10 a.m. memorial service. Inurnment will be at Kapaakea’s cemetery. The family requests casual attire and flowers be omitted.
