Chaminade Offers Nonprofit Seminar

Molokai Island Foundation News Release

Chaminade University has offered to do another nonprofit seminar on Molokai, similar to the ones they offer annually in Honolulu at a cost of $185 per person.  However, through a partnership with Chaminade University and other nonprofits, the Molokai Island Foundation is able to bring the seminar to Molokai free of charge to participants.  We will be welcoming again Chaminade Professors Richard Kido and Wayne Tanna, and Aaron Williamson who is a CPA and also teaches at Chaminade.  Handouts will be provided by Chaminade.

The seminar is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 17 at the OHA Conference Room from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Free refreshments will be provided and lunch will be offered at a small fee (to be determined).  The seminar will also be a good networking opportunity with other local nonprofits while at the same time be updated on changes relevant to nonprofit compliance.  We welcome nonprofit executives, board members and those interested in starting a nonprofit to attend this informative seminar.

Please RSVP your attendance to help prepare for the refreshments and lunch count.  To register, please RSVP by Monday, Dec. 12 by emailing Barbara.haliniak@hawaiiantel.net or calling 553-3773.  After the deadline walk-ins will be welcome, however refreshments and lunch will be on your own.
