By Rick Schonely, Sports Reporter

“When Hana cancelled their season early on, and then we got word from Lanai the day after our first Green and White scrimmage that they had cancelled as well,” explained Head Coach Mike Kahale.…

The Molokai Boys Cross Country team ran at Lahainaluna last Saturday and Head Coach Mahina Hou Ross liked what he saw from his Farmer runners.

“Our boys ran hard and did well. Namaka’s shoes came off during the race, so he finished the race barefoot,” he said. “Now it is time for some more training before the MIL Championship race on Thanksgiving weekend at Baldwin High.”

Senior Namaka Ross finished 10th with a time of 19:25.8, sophomore Jericho Adolpho ran in 19:52.6 for 16th, and junior Johnson Harris finished 41st with 23:31.6. …

Nakoa Orlando scored on an outside run for Team Green and Clarence Tanabe caught a long touchdown pass from Angelo Duvachelle for Team White.
