Casting Call for Hokulani Children’s Theatre of Molokai
Hokulani CTOM News Release
Calling all young actors ages 7 to 16, and aspiring performers! The Hokulani CTOM is thrilled to announce recruitment for their upcoming production of “Christmas Peter Pan.” This enchanting holiday musical play promises to transport audiences to Neverland with a magical twist on the classic tale.
Are you ready to embark on a journey of imagination and creativity? Join us for a mandatory parent and actor meeting and drama workshop on Monday, Sept. 11, at the Home Pumehana Conference Room. The workshop will run from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. This is an essential step for all potential performers as important details about the production will be shared during the meeting. Plus, this workshop will be a golden opportunity for young talents to showcase their skills and passion.
We’re searching for keiki with boundless energy and a passion for the stage. Major roles in the production will be exclusively offered to those who attend the mandatory drama workshop. This workshop is your gateway to becoming the star of “Christmas Peter Pan.”
Rehearsals will take place every Monday and Wednesday afternoon, leading up to the community performances scheduled for the weekend of Dec. 9 and 10. We understand that many of our talented performers are involved in other extracurricular activities. If you’re juggling a busy schedule, worry not! We have minor roles available that can accommodate your commitments.
Do you have a passion for the arts and a knack for bringing creativity to life behind the scenes? We’re also welcoming community volunteers who are interested in helping with the behind-the-scenes magic of costuming, sets, and other production tasks. Your dedication and skills will play a crucial role in creating the enchanting world of “Christmas Peter Pan.” If you’re excited to be part of this theatrical journey in a different capacity, we’d love to have you on board!
Please be advised that no latecomers will be accepted after the mandatory workshop on Sept. 11. This is your chance to be part of a magical production, so mark your calendars and don’t miss out!
