Boys Cross Country Compete on Maui
The Molokai Boys Cross Country traveled to King Kekaulike HS on Maui last weekend for their final regular season race. Molokai finished 2nd in the DII team competition behind Seabury Hall. Top finishers for Head Coach Mahina Hou Ross’s team were:
- Caele Manley, Molokai, 19:31
- Kaina Adolpho, Molokai, 20:24
- Robert Mawae, Molokai, 20:28
- Ikua Deponte, Molokai, 20:49
- Karter Kester, Molokai, 21:14
- Nainoa Kahale, Molokai, 21:22
- Kekumu Helm, Molokai, 21:29
- Tekoa Torres-Umi, Molokai, 23:55
- Napana Keoho, Molokai, 25:02
Ross said he was happy with the team’s performance, “We will be ready to run our best race of the season at MIL’s. It was a good warm-up at King Kekaulike.”
Both the Boys and Girls cross country teams will compete in the MIL Championships at Kapalua on Oct. 21. The 2017 Honolulu Marathon Cross Country Championships will be held on Kauai Oct. 28.
