Bayer Science Scholarship Recipient

Recent Molokai High graduate Kawohikukapulani Duvauchelle was one of 10 students to receive Bayer’s 2019 Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship. Each recipient received $1,000 to further their education.

Bayer’s Hawaii scholarship is open to graduating seniors of all high schools in Hawaii who will be attending an accredited college or university to pursue a discipline related to the life sciences. Related fields may include agriculture, agronomy, biology, botany, genetics, horticulture, plant physiology, chemistry, crop science and soil science.

“We congratulate all our scholarship recipients for their academic excellence and community achievements,” said Dan Clegg, Bayer’s Hawaii Business Operations Lead. “Their decision to pursue a life science major can lead to countless opportunities opening doors to exciting careers and specialties. Our hope is that they will apply their future knowledge toward making our world a better place to live.”
