Baseball Continues Winning Streak

Molokai High’s baseball team hit it out of the park last weekend playing on their home field against Seabury. The Farmers picked up two more wins, coming out of the weekend with a 6-0 season record and the title of regular season champs.
On Friday, Molokai beat Seabury 14-4 in six innings. Saturday’s game closed with a 12-1 score, in a game that honored the team’s five seniors, Steven-James Arce, Hezekiah Horner, Angelo Duvauchelle, Gavin Ainoa and Saven Kaahanui.
The team goes into the Maui Interscholastic League Division II tournament seeded number one, and will play Hana (0-6) in the semis on Thursday. Seabury, with a 4-2 record, will face Lanai (2-4) on Thursday as well. The state baseball championships for division II will be held May 5-7 in Hilo.
