Arts Center Member Show

The Molokai Arts Center (MAC) is hosting its fifth annual Member Art Show opening reception on Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Molokai Public Library. There will be pupus and live music by Norman DeCosta. The show features artwork in many media, including ceramics, painting, collage and quilting.

For the first time in the show’s history, there will be cash and other prizes awarded for Best in Show, College Student Award, Board of Directors Award, People’s Choice Award and Keiki Awards. Anyone attending the event can cast a vote for the People’s Choice Award. The voting will begin when the doors open and end at 7:30. Awards will be announced at 7:45.

Timed for the coming holiday season, many of the items on show will be for sale. The show will be up at the library through Dec. 14. For any question, please contact the MAC at molokaiartscenter@gmail.com.
