First graders at Kilohana School used the prompt, “This is not a day you have already had. It is a day that you dream to have. My very best day starts with…” to write about their best day.

By Keira French, Grade 1. My very best day starts with… I am with my friend at the hotel. We slide to the dancing room to dance all day. Next we run fast for lunch — eating fish! After we go to the beach and the museum and then we were at the hotel again for family dinner but who ate all the family dinner? Why did my brother eat all the dinner? Next day it was sunny and beautiful where we traveled around the world.
