3 Named Judo All Stars

The Molokai High School Judo team had three judoka named to The Maui News 2017 MIL Judo All Stars last week. For the boys junior Ikua Deponte was the top all-star at 161 pounds and competed at the state championships. For the girls, freshman Maria Angst was selected top all-star at 98 pounds and competed at the state tournament and sophomore Cameryn Kahalewai was the top all-star at 122 pounds and placed sixth in the state championships in her weight class.
