Head Coach Nohea Pangkee was happy with his team’s performance.
“Our boys had a fun weekend of competition and Friday was extra special as we got to honor our five seniors,” he said. “Saturday we didn’t play nearly as well as we would have liked on both defense and offense, but we’re happy to get the win.”
Pangkee has his team ready for the tournament on Lanai.
Hana Coach Malofou Moeai said his team enjoys coming to play on Molokai.
“The Molokai community always supports its teams, especially on senior night, and it exceeded our expectations,” he said. “Having lived on Molokai for four years, I have always respected the passion and a tradition of the athletic support but more importantly there is always so much aloha and respect between Hana and Molokai.”
