Sherman Uaia Manuela Napoleon

Sherman Uaia Manuela Napoleon, 75, of Kaunakakai, died on July 20, 2010 at the Molokai General Hospital. He was born on October 17, 1934 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was retired from the Hawaii State Department of Education. He served as Supervising Custodian for 37 years.

He is survived by wife Linda Apana Reyes Napoleon of Kaunakakai; sons Sherman (Camellia) Napoleon of Ho`olehua; Walter Jack (Roxanne) Napoleon of Makawao, Maui; Gilbert Reyes of Honolulu; Elroy Reyes of Kaunakakai; Jason (Nova) Reyes of Honolulu; Clint “Kalani” (Malia) Reyes of Kaunakakai; daughters Alberta (Paul) Napoleon-Patchen of Kamalo, Molokai; Nanette (William) Napoleon-Grambusch of Kaunakakai; Gilberta “Kuulei” (Ty) Reyes Tengan of Honolulu; and brother Roger Walter Maluhia Napoleon of Honolulu, as well as 19 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends called on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 8:30 till 10:30 a.m. with service at 11 a.m. at the Kalanianaole Hall in Kalamaula, Molokai. Burial followed at the Kapaakea Cemetery in Kapaakea, Molokai.
